We have many creative workshop scheduled in the fall and winter of 2022. They are relaxing, enjoyable and creative learning workshops:
`Beginners Soap Making’ – Learn how to safely make artisan soap.
`Creative Felted Soap’ – Wrap a bar of artisan soap in 100% wool. This thin wool coat helps soap last longer and makes slippery bars easier to hang on to.
`Eco Leaf Printing’ – It’s the use of fabric and leaves which leave their imprint on the fabric. If you’ve ever thought about trying this art form and didn’t know where to begin, this is the workshop for you! Simple and straight-forward, the process is fun and the results will amaze you.
We gather once a month at the Millbrook Farmers Market with other local vendors – following the social distancing practices, which allows for those individuals that would like to come out and peruse what the local vendors have to offer. Thistles and Sticks has “sample” soap product for you to safely pick up and smell the item then take home to try.
We offer 3 different workshops:
`Beginners Soap Making’ – Learn how to make artisan soap, its safety concerns and the products that are needed to make wonderful, homemade artisan soaps. There are no more than 4 individuals attending the workshop.
`Creative Felted Soap’ – It’s simply a bar of soap wrapped in 100% wool. This thin wool coat helps soap last longer and makes slippery bars easier to hang on to. The wool is gently exfoliating and can replace a washcloth or bath pouf in the shower.
`Eco Leaf Printing’ – It’s the use of fabric and leaves which leave their imprint on the fabric. If you’ve ever thought about trying this art form and didn’t know where to begin, this is the workshop for you! Simple and straight-forward, the process is fun and the results will amaze you.

We will be attending our local friendly Millbrook Farmers Market. We gather the 4th Sunday from April to October, with other local vendors.

Our product line is also available at Blank Canvas Hair & Art Studio, in Millbrook. It’s a studio filled with local artwork and products.
