This exfoliating soap was created for hard-working hands. The fine sand used in our Big Valley Old Brick Sand Soap is from bricks reclaimed from St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Peterborough, Ontario. This 160-year-old church was demolished in 2019. The bricks were relocated to `Big Valley’ in Bethany. These bricks, manufactured by John Price at the historic Toronto brickyard, bear the stamp ‘J.P. ONT’.
The rich butters and oils used in making this soap will leave skin feeling soft and moisturized.
The cedarwood, fir needle, cinnamon and patchouli essential oils blend well to provide a wonderful woodsy scent.
