The Eco Leaf Printing at-home Workshop Kit is a Thistles and Sticks creative workshop that is done in the convenience of your own home.

If you’ve ever thought about trying this art form and didn’t know where to begin, this kit is for you! Simple and straight-forward, the process is fun and the results will amaze you. Each finished print has many uses; from a tea towel or table napkin, to a fashionable scarf!

As with all things in nature, each leaf characteristic is unique and each individual’s finished product will reflect this uniqueness.

Once you have purchased this kit, you will be emailed an instructional booklet and be given access to a step-by-step video tutorial.

This workshop can be done individually, or, with multiple kits, it can be a group project for a Girls Night Out, or perhaps a Sisters’ Day.

Kit contains:

• 2 x 20″ x 28″ finished cotton
• wooden dowel
• length of string
• envelopes of pre-measured soda ash, iron sulphate and baking soda
• quantity of appropriately dried sumac, oak, maple and smoke bush leaves
• instructional booklet and video

This kit contains the products you’ll need to complete the project, however, there are some items which need to be provided by the crafter. NOTE: if more than 1 kit is being done at the same time, one large stainless steel pot can accommodate 2 – 3 kits.

You will need to provide:

• rubber gloves
• large stainless steel pot, not aluminum and one not used for cooking
• plastic container – any recycled container will do
• plastic wrap
• garbage bag
• paper towels
• towel or blanket

Be sure to save the twine the kit comes wrapped in as you will be using it for a sling for steaming the finished eco roll.
