Join us for a delightful 3 hours while you create a joyful `Eastern Bluebird’. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill or expand your felting abilities. This workshop is for beginner/intermediate skill levels.

You will explore the sculptural possibilities of felt, a durable material that has been used for centuries. At this needle felting workshop, participants will learn the basic techniques of needle felting with wool roving to create a colourful 3-dimensional bird sculpture. You will also learn how to blend colours of roving to create a realistic bird.

Needle felting uses very special needles with little notches on the end called barbs. When pushed into the wool the barbs grab the fibers and combines them together causing the wool to become more solid. The creative possibilities of felting are endless, limited only by your imagination.

All materials and instructions necessary to complete your own personalized `Eastern Bluebird’ are included in this workshop.
